Heidi is an industrial designer and maker with over a decade of industry experience in product development and fabrication in range of different mediums. Her practice is shaped by a respect for artisanal processes and the quiet strength of one-off pieces, where material integrity and considered craftsmanship are central.
She specialises in marquetry and gilding—historic disciplines now rarely practised—using traditional techniques to create contemporary objects.

Alongside her individual practice, Heidi also leads the design team at Melbourne-based studio CHRISTOPHER BOOTS, where the team develops creative concepts for new collections and refines existing works through hands-on prototyping and fabrication.

Heidi is available for a wide range of projects.
